Dream To The Last Day

Hi All,

I've been hearing a lot about sicknesses going around, and decided to look up some natural ways to help. We cannot ever fully prevent sickness, but helping the immune system and taking precautions is always so helpful. Here are the most prevalent tips that I've found across various sites for helping the common cold, flu, and virus:

1) Wash your hands after EVERYTHING you do! Use hot water and antibacterial soap and scrub. Also, antibacterial gel is helpful when you're on the go.
2) Drink a lot of water.
3) Stay home if you're sick - this isn't really prevention, but others will be glad you did.
4) Take a good multivitamin.
5) Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
6) Cover your mouth when you sneeze.
7) Increase your zinc intake.
8) Avoid too much sugar - it depresses the immune system.
9) Eat yogurt.
10) RELAX!!! You can't fight any infections or viruses when you're stressed out.

Hope that helps a bit. Stay happy and healthy during this cold season, everyone!!!

Jane

Thank you for your post, Saskia. It is interesting to see how the baby boomers are a crucial part of the marketing efforts. Very interesting to see what is effective in the way of marketing to our generation. Thanks again, Jane
