I'm sure most of you have seen the Twitter buzz going on around Dream to the Last Day. I know it can be confusing and a lot of people don't see the point, so I tried to find something to help.

Hi All,
I've been hearing a lot about sicknesses going around, and decided to look up some natural ways to help. We cannot ever fully prevent sickness, but helping the immune system and taking precautions is always so helpful. Here are the most prevalent tips that I've found across various sites for helping the common cold, flu, and virus:
1) Wash your hands after EVERYTHING you do! Use hot water and antibacterial soap and scrub. Also, antibacterial gel is helpful when you're on the go.
2) Dri…

Hi Everyone,
As you all know by now, Haiti has been stricken with a horrible tragedy in the form of a terrible earthquake. The devastation is terrible and they need more help than we can ever imagine. My family sponsors a young girl through an agency in Haiti, and we are waiting for news of her safety. Please keep her in your prayers.
There are estimated to be tens of thousands of fatalities and over 3 million affected by this devastation. The country is already incredibly impoverished, and no…

In keeping with the theme of my last post and the impending new year, I thought I would post an article that assists in finding a resolution. This article gives categories from which you can choose resolutions and help to make an inspirational goal.
I wish you all a happy and healthy new year in 2010!!! May it be full of fun, laughter, family and friends!

As we approach the new year, 2010, I thought I would reflect on the typical sentiments. Christmas has passed and we are now focusing on what we will "resolve" for the following year. Since we are all Dreamers here, do any of you have resolutions that deal with your dream??
I think my resolution is to pick up the pace on my fitness and health and be a bit more diligent. I will not be extreme, but just pick up the intensity. I think that is an interesting way to look at a resolution. Not to neces…

As Thanksgiving nears us in just two days, I cannot help but think what I am thankful for. It is cliche, but we really do not take enough time to appreciate all that we have in life. So, I ask you, what are you all thankful for?
I am thankful for my family, friends, health, mobility, my commitment to my dream, the health of my family and friends, a wonderful house, garden, dog, and many, many more things. I know I am truly blessed. I am thankful to be able to say that I have made fantastic frie…

Came across a great article on Internet use and the aging brain. Research shows that just a small amount of time browsing the internet can change brain activity and enhance function. Being on the Dream to the Last Day site is great for our brains, and encourages a lot of interaction and communication with others - all very stimulating to the brain.
Take a look:

I came across this article at the perfect time. I had been wondering what the deal was with all of the social networks that we all hear about (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). I had a general idea of them, and even use Facebook very minimally, but the explanations here are great. The article simply explains what you can do on these sites, what they are, and how we can benefit.
It's so important to stay up with technology, especially as we age.
Enjoy the great, informative read!…

Whether you are religious or not, it is hard to deny that Mother Teresa was an absolute saint in her faith and action. She helped countless poor and needy people in impoverished countries. She never took anything for herself and kept going until she was very old. Her story is a powerful one, and goes to show that age does not matter, and money is much more useful when it is used to help others that are less fortunate.
Take a minute to appreciate her legacy and learn from her. I know a lot of us…
